New improvements to an old favorite
I have not built a freight car in awhile, so I was very happy to see some outstanding upgrades to the box car kits. Doing the underbody brake rigging has always been tedious at best. Now San Juan has made it very enjoyable with some new brake line castings that really speed up the process and make it a fun build. The piping is all one piece now, instead of three you had to cut, fit and angle. The brake rods are all cast in Delrin, instead of cutting thin wire and trying to fit super small clevis' on them. Really outstanding improvements which I assume are on all the D&RG kits since the underbodies are all the same. The rest of the car is going together just as nicely as it always did. I will be ordering many more of these.
